Tim Wade is a seasoned professional with
more than 25 years of experience and insight.

Tim has served as a trusted senior advisor to the Alberta government. As a Chief of Staff he provided strategic leadership and advice for the Ministers of Finance, Economic Development, Tourism, Gaming, Labour, and Government Services. Of his involvement in a wide range of government policies and initiatives, he was an integral part of the decision-making team that designed Alberta’s Fiscal Framework and instituted the multi-billion dollar Alberta Sustainability Fund.

Tim’s strategic skills were instrumental in the development and communication of four Alberta budgets and he was extensively involved in the direction and implementation of major policy reforms in Alberta’s automobile insurance regulations. His ability to manage diverse groups of stakeholders led to the design and implementation of the Strategic Tourism Marketing Council of Alberta.

Tim is a graduate of the University of Calgary with a degree in Economics and has completed the Canadian Securities Course. He is an active member of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to his considerable knowledge of the Alberta public service, Tim maintains an extensive network of contacts within the federal government, other provincial governments, as well as the Cities of Calgary and Edmonton. Tim served as a member of the Organizing Committee for the 2005 Council of the Federation (Provincial Premiers’ Conference) meeting in Banff, Alberta.
